Who doesn't love a large serving of Moules Frites or a good old-fashioned shrimp food?
The Limfjord is one of the world's best mussel waters, and here you can find the Limfjord mussels, which are characterized by a bluish shell (the younger ones are more brownish) on the outside and a layer of mother of pearl on the inside.
Just remember to eat fresh clams. After cooking, the mussels that do not open should be discarded.
Go fishing in the Limfjord's exquisite treasure trove of fjord prawns, considered by many to be one of the finest in seafood. The shrimp has a nice taste and texture.
