The open-air museum Hjerl Hede invites inside when the museum opens its doors to renovated houses, workshops and shops during the summer holidays of the schools.
At the Bakery you can buy freshly baked cakes from home. At the grocery store you can get cheese and sweets.
The traditions are kept alive at Hjerl Hede. Try a horse-drawn carriage ride around the village, or try the steam train, which goes out to Flyndersø in steam and smoke.
The museum shop offers old-fashioned kitchenware and toys.
